The use of GPS positioning devices in agricultural aviation is gaining momentum around the world. The implementation of GPS systems allows to solve many unresolved issues that concern both the owners of the land plots and the aviation equipment that performs the treatments.
To solve the problems of the owners of agricultural plots, requiring quality air treatment with fertilizer and chemicals, we installed GPS equipment on agricultural aircraft AN-2.
The solution provided by us provided the owners with the following benefits:
– Exact area of the cultivated field;
– Number of processed fields;
– Exact time for field processing.
With the installation of the equipment, the aircraft owners received the following information:
– Fuel consumption per unit of cultivated area;
– Exact number of flight hours;
– Exact number of landings;
– Spent flight resource per unit of cultivated area;
– Planning of hours for planned maintenance by flight hours and / or number of landings.
